Curtis Sittenfeld – Prep: A Novel
Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld, is a great coming-of-age book about a girl in high school. Lee Fiora is from Indiana and won a scholarship to a private high school called Ault. The book follows her through high school and the triumphs and tragedies that come with it.

Twilight Series Are To Die For
Anyone who is anyone knows the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer. Set in the northwest, Twilight follows a group of vampires and a girl, Bella, who falls head over heels in love with Edward, the handsome vampire that is irresistible to Bella’s scent. The series follows their dangerous love for each other.
There are four books to follows the lives of Bella and Edward. They are, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. With such popularity from the books, a movie deal has been set for all four books. Twilight, the movie, reached stardom for Robert Pattinson. New Moon is set to come out in November and predicted to be huge. Here is a trailer.

Jennifer Cruise – Bet Me
A great read to check out is Jennifer Cruise’s Bet Me starring Minerva Dobbs. This 33 year-old just got dumped just three weeks before her sister’s wedding. What’s more infuriating is that her ex placed a bet on Calvin Morrisey that he can’t take her home and sleep with her.
This book is a wacky romantic book serves a fresh side of humor and witty. The life of Cal and Min is fun to read and this page-turner will definitely satisfy your appetite for chick-lit. This book also leaves you hungry for more. Jennifer Cruise has done it again with Bet Me.

Milkrun By Sarah Mlynowski
Milkrun is a great light fun read for any chick-lit loving person. It is a breath of fresh air and great lounging in your lawn chair with a margarita by your side. This book can relate to any women in that it’s about being dumped and finding yourself again.
Twenty-four year old Jackie gets dumped by her boyfriend via email. Apparently her boyfriend found someone else while “finding himself” in Thailand. Jackie doesn’t let that get her down and back on the dating scene.
This book has all the makings of a laugh out loud, fast page turner. Enjoy reading Milkrun by Sarah Mlynowski.
