Cecelia Ahern – Thanks For The Memories

Famous for her past book, “P.S. I Love You” Cecelia Ahern has done it again with “Thanks For The Memories.” This book came out in April of this year and it’s an okay summer read. Most people who have read it can give it 3/5 stars. A page turner, but the characters aren’t fully developed and are a little thin. Regardless, if you love Cecelia Ahern, pick up her latest book and give it a try.
The story is about a woman named Joyce who undergoes a transformation. She has been given blood, her marriage is done and she has to re-piece her life again. She meets her blood donor, Justin, and a story begins.

Good In Bed – A Good Summer Read
A fun and light read for the summer is definitely Jennifer Weiner’s, “Good In Bed.” Good in Bed is about a 28-year old woman named Candace Shapiro who is preoccupied with men and her weight. Isn’t this what all women are preoccupied about? This follows her life with her boyfriend Bruce and her doctor as well as her dysfunctional family. It is a funny, feisty read that goes great with a margarita on the beach. If you end up liking this book, the follow-up, “Certain Girls” is set 12 years later and has viewpoints of Candace and her daughter.
